Daily Duties at Gaylord Chemical Corp:
QC Chemist/ Research Assistant/ ISO internal auditor Maintain all aspects of the quality and research labs by ordering supplies, troubleshooting/repairing lab equipment, and SOP revision. Make recommendations to save money on lab operations. Conduct weekly and daily lot analysis of products as well as monthly calibrations to all analytical instruments. Run statistical analysis on gathered product data to confirm control and specification. Conduct outbound product specification analysis and take necessary preventative action in the case of an out of spec product. Conduct analysis of primary product in accordance with USP and Eur. Pharm. guidelines. Ensure data quality and record maintenance in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 standards. Conduct plant research to improve plant operations and assist in daily plant operations. Assist and brainstorm with two Ph.D. chemists in original research to generate new ideas, products, and applications to expand product line. Organizing and generating data for the marketing group. Assist with customer related issues and questions.
