Daily Duties at Montgomery Area Mental Health:

Developed therapeutic programs for and opened a 9-bed Acute Care Psychiatric Unit. Provided individual, group, family, and crisis intervention therapy for adults on the unit. Evaluated potential patients for admission. Conducted Mental Status Evaluations and testified at Involuntary Commitment Hearings. Conducted admissions for new patients including diagnosis and treatment plan. Consulted with the Department of Mental Health Hospitals, Department of Human Resources, other agency therapists, and Probate Court.
