Daily Duties at Knowledge Planet:

Ms. Calhoon was a project leader for various commercial Web-based training products. She researched the training needs or users and designed the appropriate curricula as well as defined the editorial content and audience for the training material. Ms. Calhoon was responsible for obtaining outside resources such as software, graphics, and video as needed. She worked with subject matter experts (SME) to develop metaphors, examples, and other resource information used in the training, as well as selected the techniques the multi-media authors would use to present information to the user and insure the material was appropriate for the audience. Ms. Calhoon developed multimedia Java interactive training using a proprietary multimedia development tool. She supervised multimedia authoring teams designing WBTs and CBTs including scheduling and assigning work assignments. Additionally, Ms. Calhoon was responsible for the development and site management of the company’s intranet Web site.
