Daily Duties at Aig (American International Group):
• Billing of large deposit premium, retro adjustments, and paid losses including large deductibles. • Calculation of retrospective rated policy adjustments. • Reconciliation of deposit premium. • Security calculations. • Preparation of coding (e.g state allocations) and coding of adjustments. • Management of relationship between TPA, Insured, and Underwriting. • Reviewing TPA loss data for accuracy (TPAIR review). • Working with TPAs to correct any data integrity issues (both state filing and financial) • Coordination of TPA price quotes for underwriter on unbundled accounts (non AIG). • Inspecting, reviewing, researching and evaluating documents, policies (binders, Legal Agreements, etc.) and comparing against system coding to ensure data consistency and accuracy. • Investigate insurance workers comp claims for underwriters to determine eligibility. • Coordination of post-binding and pre-renewal account activities including security calculation updates, policies, security releases, auto conversions, renewal of Letter of Credits, etc. • Providing claims pricing to vendor services for inclusion in the claims service agreement. • Providing up front data integrity checks via the policy report. • Coordinate file transfers (making sure the appropriate parties have been notified).
