Daily Duties at Kaplan University:
• Hire within the Company for over 150 different openings annually (from Receptionist to Department Chairs). • Identify viable candidates from various sources including: directories, contact lists, databases, leads, job boards, and personal networking while continuing to improve candidate quality. • Partner with hiring managers and senior management to develop staffing strategies; develop and implement cost effective recruitment plans that minimize time-to-fill. • Provide training and guidance to Managing Directors on policies, process, and regulatory issues regarding the Human Resources procedures. • Provide consultation throughout the selection process to maximize fit and retention; develop and build hiring processes for a variety of levels from temporary staffing to executive placement. • Research, analyze, prepare and present hiring statistics to Sr. Vice Presidents at monthly staff meetings • Develop and maintain professional relationships with universities and college placement offices and staffing agencies. • Schedule and attend local and national career fairs. • Conduct background checks such as FDLE, past employment, etc • Plan and conducted new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
