Daily Duties at Maricopa County Air Quality Department:

• Perform level 1, 2, 3 inspections of facilities that require general, non-title V, and synthetic minor. • Issue Notice of Violation/s to sources that are not operating in compliance with their Maricopa County Air Quality Permit. • Determine permit applicability of business operating in Maricopa County. • Prepare and submit reports to prosecute sources that have been issued a Notice of Violation to the Enforcement Department. • Trained 3 new Inspectors on inspection procedures and rule interpretation. • Respond to citizen complaints pertaining to Air Quality. • Public Relations to general public concerning Air Quality in Maricopa County. • Field tasks include file reviews and site visits to document environmental conditions.
