Daily Duties at Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel:
Effectively manage and run all front office departments including the front desk, PBX, bell stand, concierge, concierge lounge, valet department and door staff. Responsible for budgeting and productivity of the department’s operating costs and labor. Responsible for defining day of sell strategies to optimize guestroom availability as well as maximizing daily revenue. Work with accounting to minimize bad debt and train the staff on tax exemption procedures and appropriate banking procedures. Responsible for the hiring, mentoring and coaching and counseling staff. Responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction is always met and exceeded, as well as promoting guest service opportunities by instilling an attitude of progressive hospitality with hotel staff members.
