Daily Duties at S Immons Company:
• Direct daily operations of Customer Service and Administrative staff including: Order Entry, Backorders, Production Scheduling, E.D.I. and Credits • Responsible for the implementation and reliability of processes to identify performance issues related to improved customer relations. Coordinate solutions with appropriate management team members • Project Management on all Contract orders (Government, Hotels, Hospitals) • Analyze daily reports to facilitate production scheduling; including evaluation of workload, load planning and the transfer of orders to other plants when necessary • Responsible for maintaining records on Quality Assurance issues, proposing potential solutions wherever applicable • Review Shipping Discrepancies, reporting inaccuracies and the preventative measures to correct. • Conceptualized “Shipping Discrepancy Procedure”, reporting inaccuracies and the preventative measures to correct. Instituting my Shipping Discrepancy Procedure reduced the plant’s monthly loss from $148,000 in 2/01 to $1,800 in 11/01
