Daily Duties at Iberotel, Sol Y Mar & Jaz Hotels & Resorts:
? To design and to implement appropriate marketing strategies. ? To increase the profile of the properties through the development of a network of sponsors and clientele. ? To ensure that the entire identified target markets of the properties are kept aligned to the development and other activities at the properties and within Iberotel / Sol y Mar / JAZ Hotels & Resorts. ? To expose all properties to a broad, representative and sustainable client base at local, national and international levels. ? To implement joint promotional campaigns, and third party marketing affiliation. ? To work on the enhancement of relationship with Travco PR and Media Manager, as well to enhance the relation with all Director of Operations, Director of Business Development, Regional Director of Sales & Marketing and General & Hotel Managers. ? To involve Public Relation matters with Iberotel Germany. ? To follow the guidelines of TUI Iberotel Germany. ? To ensure effective public relations and promote good will between the properties and its entire target markets. ? To handle all press releases and the dissemination of information to the media. ? To ensure that all publications and brochures of the properties meet the company visual identity guide. ? To develop an effective monthly calendar of activities. ? To establish and to maintain an effective working relationship with all media members to encourage and maximize coverage of the properties and its events. ? To identify and to pursue publicity opportunities. ? To maintain database of all relevant media contacts with print deadlines. ? To establish and maintain a calendar for material deadlines. ? To update all relevant information and maintain all promotional on monthly basis. ? To identify appropriate and relevant search engines and web-sites and ensures and maintains an effective presence of the properties. ? To coordinate and liaise with Web-Site Designer as well with other sources. ? To ensure that all materials distributed to relevant web-site and updated on regular basis. ? To manage the budget (Media and PR plan). ? To implement and to maintain an effective filing and administrative system. ? To establish and to maintain photo library. ? To establish sales leads from the media and contact external target groups. ? To manage official properties’ events and functions whenever required doing so. ? To attend division and general meetings whenever required. ? To coordinate relevant photo shoots within established budgets. ? To coordinate with all General / Hotel Managers ? To be responsible on all FAM trips and events taking place with coordination with property management. ? To handle any relevant special events and PR activities. ? To centralize all Sales & Marketing materials such as; brochures, fact sheets, CD’s, directories. ? To be responsible on all property collaterals for new openings. ? To manage the advertising function in an effective way that reflects a positive image of the properties. ? To insure regional advertising plans are well prepared in order to minimize duplications. ? To follow the guidelines of TUI-Iberotel, Sol Y Mar & JAZ. ? To formulate proposals together with Regional Director of Sales and Marketing and/or Director of Sales in order to ensure funds for the properties with all respective properties. ? Effectively supervise the work of all subordinates. ? To handle all disciplinary matters and grievances of staff reporting to her. ? To provide training and development as required by her staff. ? To set professional and performance standards in order to ensure that a high quality service is provided to all clients. ? To organize bi-weekly communications meeting with Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Sales and communications team. ? To audit respective properties in relation with collaterals to ensure comfort with company corporate identity guide. ? To have a close relationship with Sales & Marketing team in line of work, presence of the property. ? To have the right to travel to every property when it is needed. ? To establish an open communication channels and excellent net working with all Executive Office / Guest Relations with all respective properties. ? To establish a meeting with Travco concerned team whenever it is needed. ? Any other tasks that maybe directed and delegated to by the General Manager or Corporate Marketing Office from time to time.
