Daily Duties at Ibm:
• Designed and developed the ISC Architecture Blueprint that defined the 3 and 5 year strategic direction of applications and interfaces using Services Oriented Architecture resulting in significant improvements in flexibility, adaptability and costs. Worked with architects to insure that SOA would be included in their future development projects. • Defined the Personal Systems Group’s supply chain as-is and desired state business models using process modeling tools that enabled IBM to conduct e-business for configured to order products. Defined the application architecture to address gaps in the order management process resulting in $M sales for IBM. Received Customer Appreciation Award. • Analyzed manufacturing interfaces and recommended a services hub that provided the most efficient and flexible architecture to collect and distribute the cost information to the SAP Ledger for Cost / Revenue match. • Developed the process to manage the application portfolio based on process capabilities. Used Hyperion to identify cost efficiencies and application sunset opportunities within the ISC. Reductions of $4M were achieved. • Established the process for scheduling orders across divergent business units using business modeling tools. Created the process model and architecture that established an optimized method for the calculation and display of product availability information to customers using our web commerce application. • Received 1 process patent and have 2 patents pending on Solution Scheduling and Availability processes. • Led cross functional team and developed the process flow for a best of breed demand conditioning process for surplus parts and materials without demand. Implemented solution decreasing surplus inventory by 20%.
