Daily Duties at Mantech:
• Maintains the desktop systems (approx. 1500+) and provides tier 2 and 3 support for users (approx. 1000+) relating to hardware, software and technical problems supporting Windows 2000/XP • Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot any hardware and software components; presents formal and informal training and assistance to customers; and report, respond to, and resolve customer requests both remotely and in person • Responds to and ensures complete resolution of any Desktop user support and Help Desk related calls • Documents actions taken; gives needed guidance or training to customers and tier 1 personnel to prevent recurrences; and assists more experienced specialists in resolving very complex problems • Installs, configures, and tests software on customer workstations • Server management to include: Printers, Blackberry, Microsoft Exchange, User profiles/documents • Perform basic router configurations on Cisco hardware • Maintain network infrastructure standards
