•Provided leadership in developing policies, recommending solutions, and approving exceptions in the area of Employment Services. Expert in developing and negotiating strategies and solutions to complex and sensitive issues in all areas of Human Resources. Knowledgeable in employment laws, creation, interpretation, and communication of regulations. Represented the University in meeting with medical and legal professionals in order to discuss, mediate, negotiate, and resolve highly volatile and potentially damaging workplace issues that could result in litigation for the University. •Founded an Employee Relations Team, which included the Assistant Directors of Employee Relations, Compensation and Classification, and Training to research and resolve employee relations issues, develop proactive strategies, and to communicate areas of concern with administrators as appropriate.
