Daily Duties at Washington Tools:

Ensure open and productive communication between existing clients and company while expanding client base. Set tempo for strategic accounts and collaborate with Vice President of Sales regarding client contact and new business development opportunities. Manage 11-member sales team in California and Houston, Texas. Train sales reps and customers in company website procedures. Coordinate trade show participation. Track client information using ACT! database and complete administrative tasks using Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes, as well as operate internal sales system. Key Achievements: Ø Signed 700+ customers to new website, producing $1.2+ million during first year. Ø Exceeded annual sales goals and successfully penetrated historically weak territories, as well as generated high customer service and retention rates. Ø Assumed dual role of Marketing Manager and Vice President of Marketing; ensured seamless marketing operations during transition period. Ø Provided comprehensive information for clients by distributing price file with 89,000 listed items. Ø Developed new policy to sell catalogs using marketing rebate to open new sales venue
