Daily Duties at Cingular Wireless/At&T:

• Experience with UNIX Shell scripting and SQL command line scripting to prevent and resolve production issues in a high volume / availability UNIX/Oracle SQL environment. • Develop automated and manual test scripts within aggressive time schedules for various types of testing: usability, grammar/spelling, functional, regression. • Write SQL Statements to extract Data from database to verify the output Data. • Use Test Director (Defect Tracking Tool) for communication with the • production personnel, developers and team members. • Make recommendations in regard to long-term development of quality assurance process and workflow within the department. • Technically resolve batch job failures relating to data integrity issues such as Oracle database errors, issues, user errors and UNIX file system dependency issues. Investigate, quantify and resolve pre-audit billing and all escalated production issues related to the Telegence Billing System, and correct and reprocess 100% of billing reject errors related to code defect, user error, etc, and develop ad hoc quantifications to measure the revenue impact for escalated issues. • Support new development projects, e.g. perform version upgrade spot check duties to ensure successful release of new software into production and perform validation once development code is pushed to production.
