Daily Duties at Sachs Sax Klein:

Hired, trained, and supervised 42 non-legal support staff. Coordinated applicant testing and pre-employment drug testing, established and administered service award program, and created job descriptions for employees. Built benefits package, coordinated office construction, handled all phone equipment and minor IT functions. Negotiated all vendor contracts, established a successful employee training program and enriched orientation procedure. Responsible for ‘termination management,’ ensuring all proper procedures, protocols, and compliance issues were met. Participated in Shareholder meetings, spearheaded payroll and payroll tax activities in conjunction with ADP software, and worked with Firm Accountant with federal income tax. Managed accounts payable and receivables and authored policies and procedures. Provided counseling and progressive disciplinary actions for employees. Supported management with employee performance data specific to their key performance Indicators. Maintained a proactive annual performance schedule for evaluations. Provided guidance to management on employee counseling, progressive discipline, and other actions. Provided regularly scheduled training sessions for management on employee relations techniques / requirements. Established Perform Job Analysis, evaluated positions, created job descriptions, and analyze comparative market compensation. Developed compensation structures and organizational policy and procedure manuals. Significantly improved morale and retention programs. Developed and implement career pathing programs to prepare for future human capital requirements. Identified training and development requirements for management and employees and prepared and delivered special courses and programs to meet projected needs. Identified potential outside sources for training and materials. Coordinated training classes and programs – and provided organizational development, expertise, and consulting.
