Daily Duties at Lewis Longman & Walker:

Designed new employee orientation package and established and facilitated all new employee activities and sessions, which provided – for the first time - continuity in all company and benefit information presented verbally and in writing. Hired, trained and managed non-legal support staff. Created and administered a revised employee evaluation program, which allowed for improvement and identified problem areas prior to final evaluation. Administrator of benefits including, short and long term disability, 401K, health, dental, life and dismemberment, and FMLA. Supervising 4 regional offices including 4 Office Managers and staff of 105, assist COO in budget reconciliation and other forecasting/planning activities, and authored and implemented retention policy for client files. Prepared confidential material for grievance and other personnel-related meetings. Created in-house training programs. Participate in the development and Implementation of the company’s Corporate Strategic Safety Plan. Analyzed losses for trends. Analyzed work methods for potential risk. Developed Safety Targets based on level of frequency, risk, and exposure. Produced various safety awareness campaigns that promoted and communicated the corporate commitment and policies towards Safety. Developed and implemented morale and retention programs including career paths, recognition, awards, incentives, social activities, and communication campaigns that resulted in significant performance standards.
