• Sold relocation services to Fortune 1000 companies, covering 27 states in central and western United States. • Identified potential clients needing support for relocating employees, utilizing resources such as membership directory listing companies affiliated with Employee Relocation Council (ERC). • Distributed marketing materials to prospective customers via mail or e-mail, then followed up with telephone calls to schedule initial meetings to assess clients’ needs and explain available services. • Adjusted presentation style and content to meet clients’ expectations and circumstances, showing PowerPoint slides as appropriate to add visual element to sales calls. • Attended industry conferences to make contacts and strengthen existing client relationships. • Closed accounts with high-profile companies such as Wells Fargo Bank, Hallmark, Disney, Ryder, and Office Depot. • Played vital role in key sales presentation to Dell Corporation with goal of gaining contract to handle 2,200 employee relocations per year; prepared and delivered domestic presentation and assisted with delivery of discussion on international services (contract still pending as of July 2007). • Maintained positive persistence and ongoing contact with clients over lengthy period of time often required to gain final closure of contracts.
