Daily Duties at Motorola:

Human Resource Manager, 1999 - 2003 Supported Global organizations with population of 850 exempt and non-exempt employees distributed in 7 Asia locations, 5 US sites, and 2 EU locations. Organizations included Supply Management, IT, Manufacturing, and Business Units. • Partnered with all levels of Management to ensure smooth departmental and interdepartmental activities in pursuit of company objectives. • Served as primary HR contact for executive management team, and employees assigned client groups on all employee relation issues. Conducted investigations, analyzed situations for appropriate outcomes. • Established first career path for high potential engineers with in the Final Manufacturing organization • Consulted and made recommendations to manufacturing line leadership in all areas of operational and functional Human Resources • Organizational pulse management through employee surveys and contacts. Management briefing and coaching. Creative solutions development and implementation. • Administered company wide employee survey (22K employees). Participation rate was at 82%. • Partnered with HR peers and Management to deploy compress shift definition globally (approx. 600 employees). • Managed annual merit and equity distribution. • Facilitated strategic succession planning and organizational development for Manufacturing, Supply Management, and 2 Business Units. • Planned reduction in workforce planning, management approval, and deployment due to business downturns, reorganization, and company restructuring. • Drafted RFP for Health screening and prevention vendor selection and management. Overall cost saving of 15% achieved.
