Lead Specialist responsible for drafting and negotiating ISDA contracts and other master agreements supporting BP Products North America's crude oil and refined products trading. Experience includes working in a fast paced commercial atmosphere with accountability for coordinating with credit, legal and commercial departments to acheive maximum business efficiencies. Additional responsibilities include negotiation of guaranties, novations, confidentiality agreements and various other legal documents. Major accomplishments have included increasing the percentage of financial transactions governed by ISDAs from 41% to 90%, developing procedures for receiving/issuing collateral, developing an ISDA prioritization report which identified and quantified BP's need for an ISDA with counterparties, and leading BP's effort to create a common ISDA Schedule which is used by each US commodity trading business, including BP Energy Company, with minor variances.
