Daily Duties at Equitable Life Assurance Co.:
duties began with mailroom functions. Promoted to medical claims adjuster. I was sent to New York City to be taught the new electronic claim payment system. After this, I was sent to numerous divisional claims offices throughout the United States to transfer the paper file information into the computer system so that new claims on that client could be paid electronically. This was my most satisfying job and wish I had never left it.
