Daily Duties at American Express:
Responsible for testing and quality of applications/ reports built for Management Information System (MIS) for Risk Management organization. ·Verified the accuracy of financial data and reports developed. ·Tested reports using Mercury Test Center’s automation tools. ·Prepared and executed unit, system and integration test cases. ·Daily responsibilities included analysis of data applying MS SQL, business logic; process flows and reports to ensure accuracy of the MIS. Developed processes and analytical techniques to anticipate and find errors early in the data/ report delivery process. ·Applied quantitative techniques and statistical tools such as SAS to find errors and inconsistencies in reports and data, translating analytical techniques into proactive solutions. Performed Root Cause Analysis and speedy resolution along with lessons learnt documentation. ·Achieved 50 to 70 percent improvements in key metrics for the tracking and resolution of production issues. ·Coached team members in Six Sigma practices.
