Osu Extension Service Work Values

Daily Duties at Osu Extension Service:

Teach food preparation, general nutrition, safe food handling, meal planning, and budgeting to underprivileged families in Beckham County. Recruit the families I work with in the program from the Department of Human Service (DHS) Food Stamp listings and coordinate with DHS and other organizations. I have taught/currently teaching groups from Red Rock Behavioral Service, Diversified Family Services, New Hope Rehabilitation Service, and have presented nutrition programs to parent groups for Head Start parent meetings. I have developed games, designed flyers, adapted forms to be filled out using computer entry in Word or Excel, etc.
