Daily Duties at Ocean Springs School District:
As a high school English teacher I created lesson plans, constructed activities that inspired and helped students learn, and worked as a disciplinarian and role model. I tutored those who needed help with writing and critical-thinking skills, and I acted as a sounding board for those students who might want a young adult to talk with. I also evaluated critical-thinking progress and designed the modes of assessment for my classes. I taught my students kindness, a sense of justice, and responsibility.
