Daily Duties at Macy's Merchandising Group:
Heavily involved with the Martha Stewart Collection Launch for respective area of merchandise. Seasonally present packaging concepts to Martha Stewart and Macy’s marketing departments. Perform high-level costing for outsourcing of over 200 items with a consistent negotiation process. Assisted in the development of the Outerwear, Suiting, Separates, and Linen lines, including the presentation to all buyers during market. Worked closely with divisional buyers post market to confirm key items, minimum issues, and unit placement. Requested all marketing and advertising samples, and continuously followed up with status of each style. Presented seasonal lines to management for weekly line reviews and selling recaps. Attended daily technical fits, seasonal technical turnovers, seasonal concept meetings, and assisted in the decision-making of any styling changes. Effectively delegated daily workload to seasonal assistants on a daily basis. Maintained the responsibilities as previous role of FedBrands Analyst.
