Created supply base strategy for category on an annual basis including Industry Assessment, Supply Base Assessment and Supplier Assessment identifying gaps and developing action plans to close said gaps. ? Completed supplier identification and assessment for category. ? Developed and implemented manufacturing procedures for global sources. ? Managed the product development process for all raw and finished fabric products. Ensured timelines are met with both internal and external customers ? Generated $3.3M (10 % of total spend) total cost savings in this category. ? Initiated request for quotations, analyzed results, and awarded business based on cost, quality, capacity, and supply base development. ? Managed a supplier rating system based on cost, quality, and delivery. 2 of 3 suppliers achieved an overall “Exceeds Expectations” for 2003
