Daily Duties at Concentric Networks:
Internex / Concentric Networks (Internex was purchased by Concentric in February 1998) - Managed System Administrators and Network Engineers developing and testing new technology for implementation into the network. This includes Voice Over IP, ISDN and DSL access to the ATM backbone. Before Concentric acquisition of Internex –I was the Director of Operations - Managed the growth of the network and the team of 30 people that were responsible for Network Engineering, System Administration, Field Engineering, Network Operations Center (NOC), Data Center operations, vendor relations, customer turn-up, second tier network support and creating system procedure documentation (including disaster recovery). • Managed the growth of the network • Administered team of 30 people • Network Engineering • System Administration • Field Engineering • Data Center operations • Domain name services • Managed vendor relations • Customer Server and Network connectivity • Hosting
