Syzzle –San Jose, CA (Pre-funding start-up) - Developed the network design; staffing and associated costs to deploy a nationwide dial-up network with 31,000 dial ports (250,000 users). The design included dial, DSL and T1 access, backbone, Internet access, peering, hosting a VPN and the ability to handle voice. • Developed the network design • Established staffing and salary requirements • Created Network Operations organization chart • Developed department budget • Provided business case input • Participated in funding presentations • Designed nationwide network infrastructure • Wrote job descriptions • Negotiated network implementation and support costs • Integrated DSL, VPN, VOIP & dial, into design
