Daily Duties at Orgill Brothers Inc:
Monitored, evaluated, maintained and supported the Electronic Database Publishing System, CD-ROM Publishing System (software and hardware) and Database uploads to Web site and mainframe. Coordinated and assured that mainframe downloads, database and Print/CD publication systems are properly optimized to facilitate meeting production schedules and publication accuracy. Utilized software and programming to enhance work flow and resolve technical problems. Maintained accurate back up of Electronic Publishing systems. Evaluated software, hardware and procedures keeping Department manager abreast of problems and proposed solutions. Maintained accuracy for new item tracking database and color image tracking database verifying that the required reports are accurately generated. Provided guidance, technical assistance and training to desktop publishing operators. Published new items, sectional revisions, buyer’s proofs, coupons and other promotional materials as required. CD-ROM telephone customer support.
