Daily Duties at Calhoun County School Board:
"Routine" teaching tasks associated with teaching students enrolled in special education programs or Adult Literacy/GED prep. Taught the exceptionalities of: learning disabled, emotionally handicapped, severely emotionally disturbed, educable mentally handicapped, gifted k-12. Also experienced as GED/Adult Literacy prep programming as well as TABE testing and remediation for adult education paraprofessional applicants and employees. Served as a member of the Florida Association of the Gifted Board (during the period of time in which the national conference was held in our state)and the Regional Adult and Community Education Regional Training Council member. Held numerous positions in contribution to School Advisory Councils and accreditation preparation. Chosen to present at the State Adult and Community Education conference in 2006-07. Also an initial member of the GED Math Institute's trainer cadre' for the State's Workforce Development Division. Also served as a Grant Reviewer for FL Workforce Development. Written and recieved grants for Calhoun County Adult School and reported accordingly to State and Federal Grant requirements.
