Managed all technical and operating functions in a Multi-Plant Plastics Tooling and Extrusion Equipment Manufacturing Division. o Developed and Implemented Strategic Operations Plan for Division. o Re-capitalized and upgraded manufacturing processes which reduced direct labor and support expenses by 30%. o Lead business cycle time reductions in manufacturing by 5X and design by 3X. o Implemented Lean/Demand Based and 5S Manufacturing techniques, which eliminated one level of management. o Organized and managed acquisition of two business units. o Started up plants and all related business systems. o Re-designed Plastic Extruder product offering and positioned the new products to support specific Customer Markets. o When Business Unit was sold went with business to manage transition of business to new owners until they could take over.
