Daily Duties at University Of Medicine And Dentistry Of Nj:
REsponsible for evaluation and formulation of treatment plan for sick and critically ill patients. Performed surgical and diagnostic procedures under the supervision of an attending physician. Responsible for the post-operative care of surgical patients. Delegate responsibilities to junior surgical and ancillary staff. Participated in overnight call where I was responsible for assessment and treatment plan of emergency room patients, new consults as well as all in-house surgical patients and served as back up call for more junior residents. Responsible for teaching and supervision of medical students, PA students and more junior staff members. Presented case reports and prepared presentation for weekly journal club and case conferences. Kept abreast of the latest anvancements and treatment modalities using review journals and available databases including Cochran,Pubmed, Medline and Ovid.
