Daily Duties at University Of Medicine & Dentistry Of Nj:
Responsible for daily evaluation and formulation of treatment plan for sick and critical ill patients. Performance of surgical and diagnostic procedures under the supervision of attending physician. Responsible for post-operative care of surgical patients. Delegate daily responsibility to junior and ancilliary staff. Responsible for supervision and teaching of medical students, PA students and Junior staff members. Participated in overnight call where I was responsible for new admissions from ER, new consults, as well as care of all inhouse surgical patients. Presented case reports and powerpoint presentations at weekly journal clubs and case conferences. Responsible for self-education through reading of scientific journals and literature review. Kept latest clinical advancements and treatment modalities through review of data from available databases (Pubmed, Cochran, Ovid, Medline).
