Daily Duties at Earthlink:
• Worked tier 1 and 2 technical support, answering customer’s questions about the internet and Earthlink’s products • Supported DSL, Cable, Satellite, Blackberry, and wireless internet connections • Answered questions and resolved technical problems on all Windows and Macintosh OS X applications • Maintained phone and trouble ticket logs using database and trouble ticket system • Escalated problems into internal NOC • Performed customers follow up for improved customer satisfaction • Handled customer emails and talked to customers by through our Earthlink’s live chat external website interface resolving customer service or technical questions and problems • Provided technical direction and guidance to other Earthlink service employees on all platforms Installed hardware and software • Installed and updated various operating system versions • Installed and updated video cards Developed and documented processes and procedures for technicians ensuring standards compliance Awards: ? Sport of the Month Award - for handling the most support phone calls per hour ? Bruce Jenner Award - for overall most rounded performer in all categories of support and service
