Daily Duties at Simmons Company:
Brought to corporate headquarters to direct the strategic reorganization of core business structure supporting the Company’s top national account during a period of dynamic transition. Directed P&L and strategic advertising and merchandising for a leading $50 million national chain (Macy’s Department Stores) during the merger of five divisions and closing of four purchasing offices. Integrated and reengineered regional sales structure into a new national program and redeveloped all sales, merchandising, billing and training processes. Provided leadership for a 42-member management and sales team. Partnered with buyers to develop promotional programs and teamed with manufacturing to orchestrate raw materials forecasting, production and product distribution.
