Daily Duties at Graf Tech International Ltd.:

Corporate Manager of Training and Development – Tasked with driving the assimilation of a new corporate philosophy throughout the organization and creating a developmental system and structure where none existed before. • Supervised by the Director of Human Resources • Led creation and implementation of a global Performance Management process • Create and drive organizational development database to match successors with open positions • Lead competency assessment of all managers and above throughout organization • Coach and assist CEO with his personal development plan • Prepare and present funding requests to local and state politicians and funding representatives • Create and lay out structure of Knowledge Development Center at the Parma site • Develop competency training resource list for succession planning • Facilitate feedback from 360 exercise and identify relevant developmental programs • Prepare global developmental system introduction and communication of new training topics • Develop and continuously expand content for the Development Center intranet site • Create and monitor developmental metrics • Organizational resource for creation and facilitation of Deployment Flowcharting exercises • Consult on developmental topic preparation • Develop intranet method to advertise and receive candidates for developmental programs and locations • Drive community relations for developmental topics • Create and update database of individual developmental activities
