Daily Duties at Cablevision Systems Corp.:

•Daily Supervision of 38+ Field Service Technicians. Daily coordination and proper routing assignments for all technicians scheduled work, while keeping the quality of service and subscriber satisfaction a 100% priority •Delegate and reassign any additional Installs, Change of Service or Service Calls pending, due to absences or over booking of that days work quota vs. available manpower. Monitor tech progress to ensure that all of Cablevision’s Services of Digital\Analog television channels, VOD, HDTV, VOIP telephony and High Speed internet services are installed properly while staying on time within the scheduled time slots. •Analyze and help with the resolution for any employee’s work related issues, problems or concerns. Assisted technicians if needed in solving product or system related problems by utilizing the training and skill sets acquired, while also promoting positive feedback and new training. •Maintained and adjusted spreadsheets for daily, monthly and over-time manpower availability with daily and weekly schedules for all in house Technicians and Sub-Contractors. Daily productivity reports utilizing MS Excel spreadsheets. Address and resolve in a timely manner, any Subscriber complaints or other situations affecting subscribers in need of immediate resolution. When required assisted Sub-contractors with various operational tasks. •Responsible for monitoring the productivity and completion percentages of the Field Service department. Addressed as a whole or individually any shortfalls that may have occurred within the objectives set for achieving or exceeding the goals set for the department. •Instrumental in the training and implementation of advanced technical training for all technicians staffed in the Stamford CT hub site facility. •Weekly instructional toolbox meetings with emphasis on the importance of following and applying all company and OSHA safety and health policies and procedures. •Responsible for the compliance and application of all company policies and procedures relating to all Field Service Personnel. Initiate and applied disciplinary warnings and action thru verbal or written action when deemed necessary. •Prepared and administered yearly reviews of employees while also recommending grade level promotions thru the evaluation of company defined expectations for service performance and quality in various applicable areas. Support, monitor and assist technicians in achieving their goals for positive career growth.
