Daily Duties at Walt Disney Parks And Resorts:
Developed strategic product assortment plan to meet departmental revenue objectives, as well as guest satisfaction. Participated in forecasting and managing the monthly open to buy process with the planning team in accordance with sales trend and business opportunities. Implemented product development timeline and development of product from concept to package. Communicated daily with vendors to critique/approve product samples, negotiate cost-of-goods, and ensure timely production and delivery of goods. Partnered with Visual Merchandising Team to communicate display and marketing needs. Created and developed event merchandise product assortment, and partnered with Special Events team to ensure a seamless guest experience. Also responsible for market buying of non-character assortments for themed locations.
