Daily Duties at Digital Artist Music Network (D.A.M.N.) & Us Gig Tv Music Reporter/Promoter/Band Manager :

D.A.M.N. was an organization that I founded and ran to promote struggling indie music artists that I felt had great potential. I designed a website to promote the artists I had “hand-picked” through mp3.com and recruited street teams in various locations across the country to distribute flyers and compilation CDs that included music from the various artists I promoted. Within the website, flyers, CDs, etc. were many advertisements from music related companies that I sold ad space to which required cold calling businesses to solicit ad sales. In addition, I coordinated a yearly live indie music festival to promote my artists and obtained a well known artist to open the show for the purpose of drawing in a larger audience. Main duties included: ad sales, web/banner/ad/logo design, creative writing, editing/proofreading, event coordination, marketing and promotion and much more.
