Daily Duties at Northwestern High School:

• Teaching art, computer graphics and AP computer graphics • Incorporating Disciplined Based Art Education and Multiple Intelligences Theory into curriculum • Cultivating positive classroom environment that encourages student achievement • Coordinating the budget for the art department • Facilitating communication between administration and faculty regarding state standards • Promoting the art department through gallery openings and sponsoring NAHS • Working with University of Maryland to create a cooperative learning curriculum for art students • Working with the Jim Henson foundation to promote the arts through the Henson Academy
