Daily Duties at Umb Investment Services Group:
Financial Control Supervisor - Oversaw the Fund/SERV Department. Ensured that all Fund/SERV eligible mutual fund trades were processed (accepted or rejected). Daily interaction with brokers and dealers. Paid out necessary 12b-1’s and commissions. Worked through company wide system conversion. Provided semi-annual performance reviews to employees. Used Excel & Word daily. Financial Control Supervisor - Continued to oversee the Fund/SERV Department (detailed above) and additionally oversaw the Balancing Department. Ensured that staff was correctly accounting for all mutual fund dollars and shares traded in each fund family on a daily basis. Worked to complete required audits for all mutual fund families serviced. Provided semi-annual performance reviews to employees. Used Excel & Word daily. Financial Control Balancing Manager - Oversaw Balancing Department at a higher level. Worked on automating processes within department.
