Daily Duties at School Of Metaphysics:
Taught evening adult education classes in concentration, stress-relief, self-motivation and dream analysis for 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Studied advanced coursework in religion, philosophy and metaphysics. Supported Macintosh hardware, software and networking for 17 locations. Directed and motivated peers and adult students to set and achieve educational goals and complete community projects. Also served as national treasurer on board of directors. • Replaced ‘sneaker net’ at organization’s headquarters with Ethernet to ease management and make use of centralized printers. • Managed small and large group projects including major building repairs and construction projects; re-shingling roofs and replacing ruined stucco with vinyl siding. Net savings to organization in excess of $10,000. • Investigated ‘buy vs build’ cost-benefit analysis to remodel small Chicago location or buy larger building. Sale of smaller building netted larger building and savings of $100,000 plus over remodeling.
