Daily Duties at U.S. Army – 416th Theater Engineer Command:

• Senior manager of 40 Army Reserve engineers with specialties in drafting, surveying, and soil analysis. • Coordinated design and review of projects needing special research in water quality, electrical and civil engineering. • Served as Subject Matter Expert in Water Well Drilling, and Army construction quality methods. • In coordination with US Corps of Engineers, developed database of all water wells created by the Department of Defense in Central and South America and the Caribbean. • 2001 - Department of Defense Staff researcher in alternative construction methods for use in humanitarian aid in third-world nations. • 2002 - Manager of design and construction of proof-of-concept concrete clinic in Fort Allen, Puerto Rico. • 2002 - Senior Engineer Planner and Developer for multi-national Department of Defense exercise, Chile, SA. Constructed modular buildings for use in airborne border-crossing exercises. • 2003 - Senior Engineer Planner and Developer for US State Department humanitarian construction mission, Belize, CA. Constructed 400 person base camp, 4 schools, and a community center near Dangriga, Belize. • 2004 - Senior Engineer Planner and Developer for multi-national Department of Defense exercise, Dominican Republic. Renovated coast guard base to house U.S. and other Caribbean and south American servicemen and women. • Additional duties included technical photo-journalist, and Information System Manager of forty laptop design stations.
