Daily Duties at Platt Form Advertising:
responsible for the direction, leadership and management of the IT department for a 300-person advertising company. Analyzed the needs of individual departments and established priorities for feasibility studies, systems design, and implementation to develop new and/or modified information processing systems. The IT department covered network, systems, applications, Call Center and telecommunications functions. Managed a team representing Support Services (i.e., Help Desk), Network Operations, Programming, Software Development and Project Management. Duties include departmental staffing and training, hardware/software implementation, budgeting, development of user training packages, procurement of hardware/software, vendor relations, data center hosting, IT Project management, and other duties as assigned. As a member of the organization’s Senior Management team, developed strategic vision and mission of IT to meet the core business objectives of the various departments within the company. Reported to the President/CIO.
