• Prepared and analyzed departmental grant budgets of up to $125 million. • Prepared and reviewed departmental Capital Improvement budgets. • Assisted in the development and implementation of the grants round table working group in an effort to effectively utilize grant funds. • Coordinated and monitored the analysis of the City of Houston’s grant related financial statements and reports. • Assisted in preparing, reviewing and interpreting policies, procedures, ordinances and regulation changes. • Oversaw and made pertinent strategic decisions concerning Fleet Management’s seventy million dollar budget, and supervised seven accountants. • Tracked and reconciled revenue and expense accounts. • Audited and directed personnel involved with bookkeeping and accounting activities. • Audited vouchers and expense accounts. • Reviewed and maintained contracts and bid documents.
