Daily Duties at Business Analyst/ Software Tester Ii :

• Creating and implementing test strategies and scenarios to match business to replace a legacy optical character recognition system with a system composed of several multi-tiered applications leaving the ability to specify requirements to various vendors with in-house modifications thus eliminating costly external contracts. • Specifying project time schedules and evaluation of work efforts on specific projects. • Designed business flow diagrams for server setup and work flows • Interviewing end users for information on their system requirements and matching these requirements to actual functionality to update team on what items are still required • Updating functional documentation with current system information and functionality. • Distribute defect tracking issues using excel to visually detail affected areas • Work with user acceptance testing group to help them meet their project deadlines. Met with actual end users to understand real world usage of applications in order to design testing scenarios to follow similar paths and to emulate issues with data sets and groups they use • Analyzing potential conflicts involving resources (both environmental, system, and human) to maintain continuously working environments • Create HCFA, UB92, and Dental claim data by understanding test needs to find data and create data in correct databases • Meeting with third party vendors to give them specifications on the type of solutions needed, and updates needed on their initial solutions
