Daily Duties at Lifebridge Healthcare:
Programming in Sun's Monk (eGate) language to build HL7 interfaces for a multi-facility environment. The interface architectures range from ADT, Orders, Results, etc. to deliver patient information to departments throughout a multi-facilities organization. High knowledge of HL7 protocol and constructing healthcare formats to fit all aspects of the facilities numerous interface builds. The interface builds are provided by over 300+ diverse host (McKesson, CERNER, CBORD, Pyramis, etc.) interfaces and distributed to awaiting applications throughout the facilities. This requires project management, testing, code revision, and production implementations with internal clients and vendors. Involved in setting up and documenting disaster recovery system that will allow interfaces to be recovered by a remote facility.
