Daily Duties at Premier Inc:

• Provide the highest level of availability to customers using diligent server monitoring and performance metrics through reports and alerts generated with a combination of products such as Argent, BMC, MS MOM, and windows native PERFMON • Project lead in enterprise initiative to reduce server infrastructure requirements and TCO by 50% by consolidating and implementing specialized servers using VM Ware ESX virtualization software • Daily maintenance and support of Windows and Linux (Red Hat) production and development server environment • Responsible for the migration of Premier’s Exchange 5.5 electronic messaging system to Microsoft Exchange 2003 • Responsible for the consolidation of Windows NT 4.0 domains into 2 Windows 2003 domains • Provide support for various business units in deploying, testing and maintenance of hardware and software products • Meet or exceed SLA expectations by constant refinement of processes and practices using Six Sigma methodology
