Daily Duties at Wavecrest Corporation:
• Responsible for managing and driving sales in Bay Area, NW and Western Canada; direct report to Director of Sales • Competitive sales against Tektronix and Agilent Technologies • Sales responsibilities include managing current accounts, cultivating/profiling/qualifying new accounts, developing long-term sales contracts with major accounts and providing feedback from the field for internal review • Developed strategic initiatives for entire sales team that translate directly into realized goals - customer participation, tactics training for DSMs, long-term customer contracts & revenue goals • Exceeded sales goals (127%, 112% of quota in 1st two years) • Was named the Intel and Cisco Worldwide Account Manager in 2003. Responsible for all sales activities related to Intel and Cisco worldwide (volume discount agreements, coordination of purchasing cycles, MKTG programs, whitepapers, etc) • Talk with test engineers, lab mgrs, Dir engineering, VPs and CEOs (tailor messaging appropriately) • Retained all established accounts while developing 32 new accounts. Currently have over 105 design labs in 84 separate accounts • Took on new territory in addition to Bay Area (Northwest in 2004), added 21 additional active customers in the NW and Western Canada
