Daily Duties at Hitachi Global Storage Technologies Division:

• Member of the Corporate IT Staff responsible for start–up development of Hitachi GST Global Internet, Internal Web, and business Partners IT infrastructure. • Worked with internal and external customers during start-up to develop IT requirements for the new Infrastructure. • Created and instituted web management discipline and defined standards and processes for the operations of the new Hitachi GST Corporate web sites. • Formed, trained, and managed global web content development team responsible for publishing content and applications across Hitachi’s Global Corporate Web sites in Japan, China, and US. • Managed integration from HTML site to Vignette Portal technologies to reduce web operational cost to Hitachi GST. • Primary interface to internal Hitachi Development Teams, Communication, Human Resources, and International Marketing and Sales Force - OEM and Retail for the web integration. • Responsible for developing and managing new technologies and application to save cost and improve operations of the Corporate Web Operations group. • In house training of personnel to teach web design/standards and use of corporate web authoring tools.
