Daily Duties at Verizon Business:

Responsible for Remote IP Application Management and management of monitoring applications, infrastructure and server operating systems, oversight of Customized Business Outcome SLAs based on customer critical business processes. * Provided in-depth assessment and consulting on Enterprise Site Strategy and Design, Server and Network Deployment, Assessment, and Tuning Includes ongoing and extensive change control. Managing projects with revenue ranging from $10K to $200K monthly. Also managed ATG, Oracle 10g Upgrades, and Software Development Implementations across the nation and internationally. * Supervised and manages network and system engineer project resources, with teams varying in size; drafts monthly customer billing/invoices. Staffs projects weekly in under Time & Materials Agreements. Trained 3 Project Managers and new hires in PM Processes adhering to PMI’s PMBOK and corporate processes. Managed 12 infrastructure projects, 6 Platform/Database Upgrades and Migrations. * Effectively managed customer expections at the senior level with Client Executives and Client Engineers communicating directly with the customer(s). Travels to customer sites when necessary to deploy applications, systems, servers, or data center moves. * Managed the turnover of customer infrastructure to Internal Security Operations Center (SOC), as part of Managed Outsourcing Project Process. Communicates effectively with project staff and senior management daily and utilized project management collaborating tools on a daily basis, such as TotalView and MS Project. Drafts SOWs, Risk Management Plans, Communication Plans, Issues Logs, etc.
